Made with a special material that repels water but absorbs only oil, so it effectively reduces calories by removing oil and scum without decreasing the broth.
Can be used in pressure cookers.
Can also be used as a drop lid (“otoshibuta”) to help cook ingredients evenly.
The sheet is made from fibers firmly entangled with high-pressure water, making it durable — it won’t melt or fall apart even after long simmering.
How to Use:
After adding water or broth, place the sheet directly on top.
It will absorb oil and scum automatically.
Once cooking is complete, remove the sheet.
