Instructions for Use & Safety Guidelines:

Before Use:

• First-time users should carefully read all usage instructions.

• Choose a teat size appropriate for your baby’s age and development, as incorrect sizes can lead to discomfort, choking, or feeding issues.

Teat Size Guidelines:

• SS / Newborn – Round hole – Approx. 50ml in 10 minutes

• S / Around 1 month – Round hole – Approx. 100ml in 10 minutes

• M / Around 3 months – Three-cut – Approx. 150ml in 10 minutes

• L / Around 6 months – Three-cut – Approx. 200ml in 10 minutes

• LL / 9+ months – Three-cut – Approx. 200ml in 5 minutes

• 3L / 15+ months – Three-cut – For babies completing weaning
  (These age ranges are general guidelines.)

Handling Precautions:

If using a glass bottle (not applicable to this plastic model, but for general knowledge):

• Breakage Hazard: Glass bottles can shatter on impact, causing injury.

  • Do not drop or hit the bottle.

  • Check regularly for chips or cracks, especially around the screw thread.

  • Do not expose to sudden temperature changes (e.g., don’t pour boiling water into a cold bottle or cool it rapidly with ice water).

  • Always cool using a bowl of water or running water.

• Never leave the bottle with a child unattended.

Burn Risk Warning:

• Bottle and contents may become very hot during preparation or sterilisation.

• Do not mix formula near your baby.

• Always check the temperature before feeding.

• Shaking the bottle vertically, especially with the cap on, can cause hot liquid to spray out and result in burns due to pressure build-up.

Teat Assembly Instructions:

1. Hold the base of the teat firmly.

2. Insert one side of the teat base into the cap.

3. Press down on the base with both thumbs to secure it fully inside the cap.

• Note: This bottle is not compatible with Pigeon’s slim-type teats. Its cap and hood are not compatible with the MagMag Coron spout.

Cleaning and Sterilisation:

• Clean and sterilise before first use and after every use.

• Wash promptly with lukewarm water using Pigeon bottle cleanser and appropriate brushes.

• Gently rub the air valve and holes; do not scrub hard or pull, as this may cause damage and leaks.

• A safe white powder (food-grade additive) may be present to protect the valve; it is safe but should be washed off before use.

• Sterilisation methods:

  • Boiling: 3–5 minutes in boiling water.

  • Chemical: Follow disinfectant instructions.

  • Microwave: Use microwave sterilisation equipment as directed.

Teat Replacement Guidelines:

• Babies may resist new teats, so it’s helpful to alternate between at least two teats, changing approximately every 2 months.

• Replace the teat sooner if it becomes worn, damaged, or if baby starts biting (especially when teeth come in).
